I have chosen to renew "Home Of Course" after nearly two and a half decades have elapsed. The first performance of "Home Of Course" was curated by Stephanie Ben Zaquen, in 2002, at "Opal" gallery in Tel Aviv.
While assisting Dror Hibsh to realize his video exhibition, titled "Beiti", at Sharon Toval`s "Maabada" gallery in Tel Aviv, I realized that that this performance corresponds with Hibsh`s work and therefore I should present it again.
This is another of my performance-works which protests, though poetically, against the war. Since spring 2023, I have performed "Home Of Course", "About Love", "Sacrifice", "A Hymn", as an appeal for change.
The incomes from both "Sacrifice" and "A Hymn" were donated to one of the organizations which act in benefit of Democracy and Equal rights. "About Love" and "Home Of Course" were performed, free of charge, as a plea for a hasty return of our 101 hostages in Gaza and mere solidarity with my audience.

בין זיכרון לזיכרון ו-עצמאות

בית כמובן הוא מופע שעדינה בר-און יצרה ב-2002. אין זה המופע היחיד של עדינה שהוא על-זמני. כשם שהרגיש לפני עשרים וארבע שנים, כאילו יצרה אותו אז, בשעתו, לכאן ועכשיו, כך גם כעת – ולמצער ביתר שאת – מה יותר רלוונטי ממופע שכותרתו היא זו? בית כמובן זהו מופע תמציתי ומהודק, בשלושה צבעים עזים – שחור, אדום ולבן: שחור – בגדיה של עדינה והמטפחת שמסתירה את שערה – המשווה לה חזות של כל-אישה – יהודיה-חרדית, נזירה ומוסלמית – ובה בעת אישה שזהותה נמחקה – והיא בת בלי בית, נעה ונדה; אדום ולבן – גווניה של יריעות הנייר שמהן נגזרים הבית=הבגד=המפה.
